“Construction”
I have a big plan for the site now. I plan on moving the site to a new host I have found, that offers Perl/CGI and other goodies that will allow me to put up some neato stuff on the site. Plus there should be no more pop up adds. With the moving of the site, I will open up a new section called ‘Blog’. What will this Blog be? The exact same thing that you see right before your eyes. News postings. But not just from me, but from my friends too. I’m not going to hold them back on what they choose to write, either. I will continue to maintain my updates manually on this same page, but I will also post on the Blog from school, or where ever else I may be. So just think of it as Mandaria opening up to more of a community like setting. When will this movement happen? Probably today or tomorrow. You will not have to change your bookmarks as long as you have www.mandaria.tk bookmarked. So if you are interested in writing in this said Blog (I must know you in person), then either talk to me in person or online. There are two things that you will need to make up in order to be able to post. A username and a password. The username is what people will identify your postings by. Such as “Posted by Mandlar”, etc. I will allow you to post on anything you want, whether it being about your daily life, a rant, a topic of interest, something you found on the web, whatever. There is no requirement to how many times you most post, so post whenever you wish. This Blog is more focused to people who do not have the time or desire of running an entire website, but just want to have their own say every now and then and to be heard. Anyone who chooses to participate is considered a writer, whereas I am the editor. My word is final, and any abuse of this Blog will result in your removal from it.
Also, along with this move, I am going to remove the Personal Submit page because it is hardly used, and will not be able to be transferred to the new host.
